STEM Fest is an exciting new event coming to the Isle of Man -Calling Manx STEM Sector Organisations, get involved in STEM Fest this summer!

What is STEM Fest?

STEM Fest is an interactive event designed to engage students and the public in the STEM industry. We want to showcase the work of local companies and inform the audience about the wide variety of career paths that are available in Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths on the Isle of Man!

When is STEM Fest?

STEM Fest will be held at the Villa Marina on 11 & 12th July 2019.

The event will be attended by schools from 8.45am to 3pm each day & the event will then be open to the public until 6pm. Employers supporting the event will need to have staff or volunteers manning their stand for the duration of the day from 8.30am- 6pm.

Employers partaking in the event will be able to set up their stands in the afternoon of Wednesday 10th July.

How can I get involved?

We’re looking for companies to get involved in STEM Fest, an interactive event designed to engage students and the public in the STEM industry. We want to showcase our local companies work and to inform the audience about wide variety of career paths that are available in Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths!

Come along to the event at the Villa Marina on 11 & 12th July and engage students in interactive activities, here are some ideas of what we’d like to see at the event:

  • live science demonstrations
  • IT coding and other challenges
  • Hands-on engineering demonstrations
  • Simulators

Basically, anything to do with Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths that you would like to demonstrate in order to spark an interest in the young minds of our potential future workforce!
